I graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig'em!) with my degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching career in Spring, Texas in Kindergarten. After my 2nd year of teaching my husband and I moved to Austin where I taught Kindergarten at Forest Creek Elementary in Round Rock for several years before staying at home with our 2 daughters. This will be my 7th year of teaching and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year!
I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 16 years. We have 2 precious daughters, Aubrey and Brooklyn, who will be Caraway Owls this year in 5th and 3rd grade! We love to watch Aggie Football and go camping together. There's always a stack of books by my bed and I love to cook.
I also love teaching Kindergartners. They are bright-eyed, excited, eager to learn, and I love watching them grow. My goal is to create a classroom community where everyone is valued and welcomed and where the students are engaged in meaningful, collaborative learning. It will be a busy, but FUN year and I can't wait to get started!
